Winter, 2008 - It takes a community to build a center.
Funds raised at YCRR's April 24th, 2008 Spaghetti Dinner at the Moose, the Wine Tasting, the Golf Tournament, in addition to the Lose-A-Thon, will be added to the General Construction Fund. Many thanks to all Volunteers and Sponsors who made these events possible.
The new and exciting fund raiser for Winter, 2008 is the Lose-A-Thon. You can lose weight and help YCRR at the same time. Please see the Lose-A-Thon information as well as the entry form.

Work continues with various government agencies to acquire all the necessary permits for construction. Grant-writing, presentations to organizations and proposals to foundations and agencies continue in an effort to raise the remaining funds.
Great weather and a good turnout for the May 7 Annual YCRR Golf Tournament at Lakeside Country Club. LCC staff, players, sponsors, vendors and volunteers teamed up for a very successful event. Plan now to join us in May 2008!
Activities and fund-raisers Virginia Maeske and her daughter, Toby Bond, at the May 6 Wine Tasting event at Sarrasin's with Peggy Stork Havens and Sandra Stork Poole. The Maeske family donated nearly 14 acres of land behind the current Fitness Center on North Main Street for the construction of the Community Center.
