The swim is NON-COMPETITIVE and open to anyone who is of high school age and older. Each swimmer and paddler will be asked for an entry fee of $25 and swimmers are asked to raise a minimum of $100.00 in pledges in order to participate in this event. Paddlers may do so if they wish. A free continental breakfast will be served for participants and available to spectators for purchase. All participants will receive a Krossin’ Keuka ‘11 tee shirt and wonderful prizes will be awarded to the participant who raises the most money and to the participant who has the most number of pledges.

All money raised from this event is to benefit the Keuka Comfort Care Home. KCCH’s mission is to provide a facility and staff to ensure compassionate care in a peaceful, home-like environment for our community’s terminally ill residents and their families, at no cost to these patients or families. KCCH is an extremely valuable asset to our community and the quality of care at KCCH has been experienced by many. We do it bigger and better in July 2010!!! Last year’s swim, was a non-competitive, fun, friendly Keuka Lake style event. This year’s second annual Krossin’ Keuka ’10, will be held bright and early, Sat. July 31st at Keuka College, Keuka Park, NY to benefit the Keuka Comfort Care Home. We expect to have 200 swimmers accompanied by paddlers crossing the .67 mile width of beautiful Keuka Lake and we anticipate the weather will be beautiful!

The swim is open to anyone who is of high school age or older. There is an entry fee of $25 and swimmers are asked to raise a minimum of $100 in pledges in order to participate in this event. Paddlers are encouraged to seek pledges, but it is not required. A free continental breakfast will be served for participants and available to spectators for purchase. All participants will receive a collectible Krossin’ Keuka ’10 tee shirt. Prizes will be awarded to the swimmer/paddler who raises the most money and the participant who has the highest number of pledges. In addition, there will be a pre swim get-together with all the pre-registered participants in May. Details will be on our website: www.krossinkeuka.org.
